How to
Schedule a patient for a follow-up at the time you want, and FormAlert automatically sends WhatsApp reminders 24 hours and 2 hours before the appointment — no manual follow-up needed.
Open the patient's appointment — find it under Appointments, or search their phone number under Patients and open a past visit.
Click Schedule Follow-up.
Pick the date. Available time slots for that provider load automatically.
Pick a time slot and add optional notes (e.g. "review test results").
Click Save. The appointment moves to Confirmed at the new date and time, and the patient gets a WhatsApp confirmation immediately.
Once the follow-up is confirmed, FormAlert takes over — no further action needed from you:
If you'd rather have the patient choose their own slot instead of booking it for them:
Go to WhatsApp in the sidebar and open the patient's conversation.
Click Actions → Send Follow-up.
The patient receives a WhatsApp with buttons to Book a follow-up, Reschedule, or No thanks — whichever they tap is handled automatically.
